Hello,

I just started using Neuromantic for tracing, and so far it's been
great. Thanks for such a wonderful application.

I am having some trouble with performing statistics within
Neuromantic. When I have a reconstruction loaded and I click "Analyze
Current Neuron" in the "Statistics" menu I receive a message stating
"List index out of bound (xxxxxxx)", where the string of xs are
numbers in parentheses. A few times I tried it and didn't get this
message, but Neuromantic froze and ceased responding. Thus far I
haven't been able to perform any statistics within Neuromantic,
including "Full Analysis of Single Neuron." I also receive an error
stating "Access violation at address 004A057C in module
'NeuromanticV1_7_5.exe'. Write of address 000003C0." when I try to use
the "Perform Statistical Tests" option. Other choices, such as total
path length, volume, and surface area options work fine.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? I know I can load the reconstruction
into other programs to analyze, but I'm curious what Neuromantic is
capable of doing on its own. Regardless, thanks again for all the
hard work.

Cheers,

Dan Gibson

Hi Dan,

If you send me an example SWC file that fairly reliably causes this error
I'll look into it, it's probably something that's relatively simple to fix.

Hi Darren,

I emailed you some files to take a look at. Did you receive them?

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Yes, I got the files: I plan to take a look at the issue over the weekend.

Thanks for your help,

Darren
