I've been working on generating OWL files based on content in Neurolex. As part of this process, I came across some pages where the Id value was formatted as CHEBI: 10093 (http://neurolex.org/wiki/CHEBI:_10093 OR http://neurolex.org/wiki/Category:Yohimbine) and have removed the space in the Id value.

There are also pages where the Id value contains an underscore instead of a colon for terms that are from existing community ontologies, e.g. CHEBI_27732 (http://neurolex.org/wiki/Category:Caffeine). Should the Id value in all of these cases also be updated to use a colon instead of an underscore and be formatted as: CHEBI:27732?

The ids should have been formatted to the CHEBI:27732 type format because this is the standard.
Since adding terms to neurolex is largely manual and occurred over the last 5 years, the format may not be correct.

Thanks Anita, I can check for Ids for ontology terms in Neurolex that are from community ontologies that still use the underscore instead of colon. Is there any type of notification process before I update these?

No, if you swap out the id format the old redirect should still work because the redirect code adds pages/links and does not subtract them.

I believe the question was about the value of the Id field, not the page name, so redirects aren't affected or required.

Correct, the question was about the process and notifications needed for changing content in NeuroLex, specifically the value of the Id field for ontology terms. In the OWL representation of the wiki content (at least that I am generating) the value of the Id field is used in the term IRI so it's probably useful for others to know that these changes are happening for the terms from other OBO community ontologies.

The format of the ID value for OBO community ontology terms listed in Neurolex are updated to use the CURIE format, e.g. GO:0030424 vs. GO_0030424.
