Applications are open for the 2018 class of the International Neuroscience Doctoral Programme (INDP), hosted at the Champalimaud Center for the Unknown (CCU) in Lisbon. This call will be open from December 11th, 2017 to January 11th, 2018. Selected students are guaranteed a stipend and tuition support for 4 years. Candidates can submit their applications at: http://neuro.fchampalimaud.org/en/education/application/
During their first year in the INDP, students have one semester of intensive training that provides a broad foundation for innovative interdisciplinary work in basic or applied neuroscience. Students also have the opportunity to do rotations before becoming joining a particular lab. Students conceive, write, and develop their own research projects. Research topics include sensory and motor systems, reward and metabolism, plasticity and learning, cognitive functions, social behavior, neuro-immune interactions, development and regeneration, and computational neuroscience. A full list of laboratories and their research can be found here: http://neuro.fchampalimaud.org/en/research/
The working language of both the INDP and the CCU is English, and candidates are required to demonstrate proficient English language skills. For more information on applying to the INDP, please go to: http://neuro.fchampalimaud.org/en/education/application/
