Hosted by Universal Technology Corporation, the U.S. Department of Defense along with the support of other Federal agencies participating in the SBIR Program invite you to this unique conference to meet with a myriad of buyers, suppliers, and some of the industry's top decision makers all focused on transitioning SBIR funded technologies into military and commercial markets.
Transition and Commercialization opportunities are planned out through three (3) structured conference activities:
Plenary Sessions – Presentations and panels are designed to provide attendees with educational information regarding SBIR/STTR and small business topics. Sessions include case studies, legal considerations, business development, transition/commercialization, and the effects of reauthorization.
One-on-One Technology Matchmaking – Meetings are designed to give small businesses face time with representatives from government technology and acquisition programs, prime contractors, and investment companies who have matching technology needs.
Technology Showcase – Affords attendees the opportunity to share their technologies and network with peers inside the SBIR community. We anticipate over 100 companies to exhibit their leading-edge technologies and capabilities.

COMMERCIALIZATION. Do you support DoD SBIR/STTR Commercialization?
The DoD SBIR/STTR Beyond Phase II Conference will feature presentations and panel discussions for PEOs, Program Managers, and prime contractors on the Congressional mandate to set SBIR Phase III goals in all Programs of Record and to include goals and incentives in Defense contracts greater than $100 million. These customers will be highly motivated to expand their market research of SBIR technologies and companies in our one-on-one Matchmaking sessions.
SCALE-UP. This year's DoD SBIR/STTR Beyond Phase II Conference & Technology Showcase conference is being held simultaneously with the Defense Manufacturing Conference (DMC) 2014 and the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Conference. The Nation's leading DoD scale-up manufacturers will be available.
NEW OPPORTUNITIES. The Beyond Phase II Conference also will emphasize forecasts of technology priorities and future Phase I topics from the DoD SBIR/STTR Program Managers for the Military Departments and Defense Agencies.
