The Technion Machine Learning Journal Club Presents:
STANFORD’S “THEORIES OF DEEP LEARNING”
Tuesdays at 11:30 (21.12 -), Meyer 1007 (EE)
Goal: Bring together people with interest in the theory of deep learning, learn about new research, and have active discussions.
Plan: Learn Stanford’s “theories of deep learning course” together.
The journal club will present ten meetings based on the course material and slides. In each meeting, one or two members of the group will be asked to cover the course material in a 50-minute session. In addition, we will host 2-3 invited talks featuring “locally brewed” research on the theory of deep learning
Registration: based on the format of the previous RL reading group, to participate one has to present a paper by itself.
Presentation and enrollment are mandatory and will be enforced (except for post-docs and faculty members that are welcomed to join us and are not requested to present or register).
