Hi all - I am posting original art on our ecommerce site. However, we want to offer a framed or unframed option. There is only one piece of art so adding a variant doesn't work since that puts the quantity available at 2 instead of 1. Any thoughts on how to get around that?
I had a similar problem when I wanted to offer tiny originals with or without an easel, with a choice of easels, at heartpainter.com. Decided to publish the easels as separate products, categorized by the size of tiny painting for which they were appropriate. I made it clear on the easel product pages that I'd only sell them with purchase of a painting.
Frames could be separate products in a similar way, on the same product page as the original paintings, categorized by the size painting they fit. This also gives you the option of different frame styles or colors. Be sure to tag as well as categorize, which will make it easier to use summary blocks and to link to paintings and frames from event or blog entries, painting gallery pages, etc.
The limitations are frustrating though... If I organize and hold a Webinar and then upload a CSV of the attendees it counts as 'offline sources' - which basically means from that view that the salesperson did all the work to get them. Not true!
I am able to make a workflow to change the Original Source to Other Campaigns - but I can't do a drill-down of what exact webinar or campaign that was from. It seems like a simple fix to be able to add an option to
So when we say 'what campaigns brought in the most money' we can say this exact webinar brought in XXX - yes on the campaign level you can see that, but it's not entirely accurate because that contact could have just gotten an email about the webinar and their deal is attributed to that campaign - so it's not concrete data.
I'm Maggie from HubSpot's product team. I don't have any updates about the Original Source Properties but I do want to flag that we've rolled out a new set of properties which are specifically focused on how a record was created. If you go to any record (of any object type), you'll now see a new Record Source property (with a much larger range of sources) and 3 record source details properties. My hope is that this will provide a lot of additional clarity for information that was formerly smushed into the "offline sources" bucket.
I started using Hubspot a few months ago, and this has to be my biggest complaint with HS. The original lead and drilldown fields are too restrictive. And you can't easily report on the Offline Sources. I did manage to figure out that when I upload a list, Original DrillDown 2 will adopt the name of the list like Webinar - Name of Webinar - Date, but you can't easily create a view of those leads for sales to followup. I'm on the verge of scrapping those 3 fields altogether and creating custom properies if I can't modify them to suit our processes.
Hi team,
Commenting for customer here.
I honestly hoping that we can expand the original source property. In fact, allowing cutomers to add in their own source would be great! This way, they can continue to use our default sales analytics tools to do reporting without having to set up their own custom source property.
Thank you.
I am looking for something similar. We have multiple Paid campaigns, review sites, content syndication etc. I can add them under Other Campaigns, but then I need to add additional filter on each report. I'd like an option Paid Other or something similar. Event/Webinar would also be advanatageous, as I am now using Other Campaigns for these.
We'd like to see all of the default properties created by HubSpot made editable (at least by an Admin). Adding parameters that meet our business needs is critical to tracking leads, deals and results. Because of the restrictions, the Original Source, Latest Source properties are two that have been rendered unusable by us.
Agree!! I am trying to parse out what activities can be attributed to marketing vs. sales, and making this more user-friendly would be excellent. It's really difficult when I get a report like this and I have no idea what the numbers mean or even how to find out what they are
Need to make these values act similar to Lifecycle values. You can modify the existing HubSpot values and add your own. This is a real roadblock for us as it forces us to either use the other campaign selection or create a new field. Both create data night mares.
Unfortunate that it's been so many years and there still isn't an option to edit original source options. It would be great if worked similar to the industry property on the company record, where you can't delete or edit an existing value, but can add new options for things that are missing (Events, for example).
Offline sources is such a catch-all, and provides little to no value.
Does anyone know of a simple method of temporarily setting a SAS option and then reverting it back to it's previous value? I maintain a large set of macro functions that are frequently used by my team. Some of these functions need to have specific SAS options set (such as DLCREATEDIR or SASTRACE), but since these macros are generally just small parts of larger programs I don't want to unilaterally change a system option someone may be relying on later on in their program or which may cause unexpected behavior.
I've tried some stuff where I use GETOPTION to save the original value of the option I need to change so I can change it back when my function has done it's piece, but this seems kind of hit and miss (for SASTRACE at least) and it seems like there should be a better, simpler way, although perhaps not.
Example from the online help that displays a current option, saves options, changes it , shows the changed value, reloads the saved and the shows that the saved version has been restored. The example only shows one option but all options in effect are saved/ restored.
That would be perfect, except the option I'm really having trouble with is SASTRACE, and that's one of the few options that cannot be saved or loaded with OPTSAVE/OPTLOAD unfortunately (according to PROC OPTIONS LISTOPTSAVE).
I've also tried the following (and many other permutations, dealing with quoting gives me a headache, so I generally just go for a brute-force approach to get it to work right), all of which result in the same error:
That seems to be working, although I'd swear I'd tried that before and it wasn't, I guess my memory isn't what it used to be. I still really wish that OPTSAVE/OPTLOAD worked for all of the options since that'd be a cleaner solution overall. I wonder why it doesn't.
The "Blue and Improved" low pressure hydraulic Original Line is designed for use in low pressure hydraulic circuits up to 250 PSI. The design incorporates chrome plated piston rods and block vee seals. This option is available on double acting models only, and allows customers to take advantage of many of the Original Line options in a low pressure hydraulic design.
I want to believe inDesign copies your image to the document, so if your original image somehow gets misplaced, the image still shows, but in this instance, the edit original option simply disappears from the menu.
When converting a PDF doc page, I need to preserve the exact size as an image sine it is to a scale. But after converting the page to a PNG file the PNG is smaller. If I combine the image back into the document it is still smaller.
The only setting I can see that relates to this is the "Keep original DPI" setting which I was using. Why is the original size not being preserved?
I will have to try using screen capture since this feature doesn't behave as expected. This is disappointing for software that costs more than an entire operating system.
Thank you for reaching out to us through our Community Forums!
Could you please confirm if you are grabbing the image on the document using the Convert to Image tool of Nitro under Convert tab?
If so, have you tried the 'Extract Images' tool where it will allow you to save a copy of the image on the document? The Extract Images tool is also located under the Convert tab.
Kind regards,
Yes, I was using the convert-to-image function under the convert tab. I have since used an online tool to achieve the correct result. But I wanted to highlight that this feature doesn't behave as expected. Please can this be highlighted to the Devs? Thanks.

Topic-title says it all I guess. Is it possible to change the standard value NO to YES with the 2DMIRROR command? I use the command a lot and when using it the purpose is to mirror the entity without keeping the original.
There is a way to write a new LISP routine, and redefine how the Mirror command works. Though, in general, this is not a good idea, as it may break how other custom programs work, since they are expecting the default behavior. You might alternatively create a totally new command, perhaps called "MY" for Mirror Yes.
It may alternatively be done as an icon, with a piece of script associated with it. I think there is a way, in the script language, to allow the routine to pause for the user to select objects, before it proceeds. But, I don't recall how that works.
