Hi All-

Before everyone starts to celebrate the upcoming holiday I'm putting out one last request for the two dates that we have open for the upcoming homestand of Monday July 7 and the day game on Thursday July 9 (see the attached calendar!). Also I wanted to pass along some videos that have been featuring the Green Team on tv and around the internet as they may be helpful in recruiting more volunteers (and you may see yourself!). And don't forget you can bring your friends, family, faculty, etc and that the new start time is now 1.5 hours before game time at Gate D…..

Hi All-

Hope everyone's summer is off to a great start! We've been having a bit of trouble getting our minimum numbers of volunteers per game and hoping that everyone can help us in this endeavor. If there are games that have already been selected by a certain school please work with that school's coordinator and us here at the Sox if you can provide more volunteers for a certain game, i.e. if NU has already selected a game but you can bring an additional 10/20 volunteers please do so! Also in the hopes of getting more volunteers here during the summer we are pushing back the "call time" to 5:15, no later than 5:30 (or 1.5 hrs before game time if not at 7 p.m.) at Gate D. Also PLEASE feel free to reach out to your friends, family, and faculty to recruit more volunteers!

Also many of you have met our summer intern Collin, who will be helping to coordinate the Green Team efforts moving forward this summer and will be meeting each school at Gate D each night. If you need any assistance from Collin he can be reached at cgu...@redsox.com

The updated calendar is attached and we are looking for teams for this homestand's BIG inter-league match ups! Please sign up!! Also note that there has been a change to the game time on July 27, which is now at 8:05 p.m. instead of 1:35 p.m.

Hi Everyone-

We had a great month of April and collected over 3.5 tons of plastics thanks to the recycling efforts of all the Green Teams! Attached is the most up to date Green Team calendar and we need to fill some dates for the upcoming home stand. Please let me know as soon as possible if your school can volunteer. Also if your school selects a game and then has trouble filling it, please let me know as well as the other schools so that we can make sure that we have at least 30 volunteers per game. Also thanks to BU for taking the 1:35 p.m. game for Thursday May 22—those day games can be trouble!!

This last home stand was a GREAT success, especially on Earth Day, where NU/BU collected over 100 bags!

If your school is having trouble signing up enough volunteers for the minimum of 30, please coordinate with each other to work the games together, i.e. Franklin Pierce and Boston College have done an excellent job working with each other. Also please remember that all Green Team members should arrive to Gate D no later than 2.5 hours before the game starts.

Green Teamers-

I just wanted to THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all of your hard work and dedication during this first home stand. We had a few problems but I think we plowed through it very well and am looking forward to the next round of games beginning this weekend. The updated calendar is attached and we still have 2 more games left for this home stand to fill: Monday April 21 (Patriots Day with the game starting at 11:05 a.m.) and Thursday April 24 (game starts at 1:05). I know that this are two very difficult times but if anyone can do it I'd greatly appreciate it. The UMASS grad school group had a great suggestion of assigning captains to the groups around the ballpark to help organize the members in their sections as well as keep an eye out for everyone. Also some of the schools started having organized sign up lists where they would check everyone off as they entered at Gate D and finished in the 8^th inning. This was great as it helped to ensure that all the credentials came back and I would ask ALL schools to use this method in the future. Finally, if your school has already participated as a Green Team during last week's home stand, you should plan to start arriving 2.5 hours ahead of game time instead of 3, but please email me if you are bringing a lot of new students so I can have the shirts, hats, etc.

I really appreciate everyone's help and feedback with this program and hope that everyone is enjoying their time at Fenway!!!

Hi Everyone-

I've created a calendar that we can use to for scheduling the Green Team for this season and have attached it to this email. Any date that is GREEN is an open date and needs to be filled. Please email me with any dates that your school would like to take and I will update the calendar. So far the Green Team has been a HUGE success and it is all because of your hard work and dedication to making this happen. I really can't thank each and every one of you for your assistance with this first of its kind program.

A few other things that have come up over the past three games that I just want to reiterate with you all.

In 3 games, over 20 credentials have not been returned to me in the 8^th inning as our Green Team rules specify. PLEASE remind your team members that they MUST do this in order to prevent schools from no longer serving on the Green Team.
Also, when giving out assignments I think that we've determined that the coordinators should handle this function to be fair to all team members. That being said please stress to your team that when they are given their assignments they need to familiarize themselves with their areas but also not wander into any other areas during the game, mainly the Green Monster. There should really only be 2 people on the Green Monster for any game at any time

I'm going to look to the coordinators of each school to monitor their team in these 2 areas of credentials and premium area access and I know that this won't be an issue with everyone's help going forward.

I hope that everyone has been having a good time while they are here and know how appreciative we are of all that you and your school do for us.

Please let me know if anyone has any other comments, concerns, questions, or suggestions.

As summer begins to wind down I know that everyone is excited to get back to school and back to volunteering for the Green Team! That being said I've attached the calendar for everyone to see and am looking for volunteers for this Sunday's game….if you can't get a full school or community group but only a handful of people that's okay too, just email me their names and we'll see them 1.5 hrs before game time on Sunday.

In an effort to improve the Green Team and start the second half of the season off on a good foot, we have created a survey where we are asking you take a minute to share your opinions with us.
