Dear Sherrie,

The clean energy future in Massachusetts is at stake this Wednesday, and you could make the difference.  There are a thousand things you could be doing, but I'm asking you: Will you commit to taking an hour to make a stand?

Here are the details:

WHEN?  Wednesday, July 2 @ noon
~~~
WHAT?  An emergency rally to pass the Global Warming Solutions Act, which would clear the way for green jobs, cut climate pollution, and bring forth a clean energy future in Massachusetts.
~~~
WHERE?  In front of the State House in Boston -- 24 Beacon St.

This is our chance in Massachusetts to lead America forward, we're down to the wire, and you showing up could literally make the difference.

The Global Warming Solutions Act passed in the State Senate, and we only have a month left to get it through the State House of Reps.  We've got the votes to pass it, but political leaders are blocking it from coming up for a vote.  No one wants to look bad, which is what will happen if the public and the press catch word that our leaders are stalling.  That's why this rally can turn the tide ? but we need you.

Can you commit?

Peace and thanks for all you do,
Zo

p.s. ? What are your summer plans?  The Sierra Student Coalition is hosting a weeklong grassroots organizing training in NH, July 6-13 (sign up at www.ssc.org/sprog); plus, to gear up for the national Power Vote campaign (www.powervote.org), we're having a training in Minnesota from August 13-17 (sign up at http://energyactioncoalition.org/powervote/summer).
