Hello

I'm a student in IT Technology and I'm doing a project using the
Netzer module by the moment.

I tried working with the UART server and made the following tests:

In the web interface of the Netzer I set up a Baudrate of 19200.
After that I sent some characters vie Hyperterminal to the Ethernet
interface of the Netzer, Port 64000 (UART Server Port). With an
oscilloscope I found that Netzer sends the received data with a
Baudrate of about 11600 (bit length of 86 µs).

Something similar seems to happen if I send data to the RX pin of
Netzer. In this case Netzer should send the received data to the
Ethernet interface. If I connect a Hyperterminal to the Netzer's UART
Server port, it receives not the characters I sent.

My question is, has anybody made similar experiences with the UART
Server?

Hi Ralf,

This is a bug in earlier firmware versions. Please update your
firmware and test again.

You find a list of available firmware here:
http://www.mobacon.de/wiki/doku.php/en/netzer/boot2

Best regards,

Sven

Hello Sven

You were right. The firmware update fixed the problem.
Is it possible to get the latest source code of the firmware with this
bug fixed?
I only have the source code from the elektor homepage which is the
first version.

The source code is currently not available for free.
