Did you try to ping the Netzer?

Is it a DHCP Server controlled network?

Hi thanks for the replay. I haven't tried ping. And I don't know what "dhcp server controlled network" is. This is my first steps to network with microchip. I'll try tomorrow.
Thanks

Hi Oleg,

DHCP is a service for distributing IP addresses - typically used in larger
networks but also common in smaller networks where a router is used.

I connected the board directly to computer so there were only 2 devices
there. Mozilla found address which was not ordinary ip address like
192.168.0.1 but there were letters and digits. How to ping that?

I don't have the board with me now so later I can say for sure what address
is

You can ping the mix of letters and digits directly (called mDNS name). For
example:

ping ne123456.local

should bring an effect.

Also - because you are directly connected with Netzer - you should try to
use AutoIP on your PC. This means, that the PC choose automatically an IP
address in range 169.254.X.X. Setting a fixed IP on your PC like 192.168.X.X
could lead to problems, because the Netzer defaults to an AutoIP address if
it can not find any DHCP server.

Thanks for help. Working now. Somehow my ip address was fixed but not
automatic

Best regards,

Oleg
