Algorithm of finding connected components in NetworkX

Hi all,

 I was wondering what is the algorithm based on which the connected components are found using " nx.connected_components(G)". Is it Depth First Search?

It uses BFS underneath https://github.com/networkx/networkx/blob/main/networkx/algorithms/components/connected.py#L66 :)
