I will be on a kayak then. ;-) Have a great call.

Can someone post notes to the aboutus site with any major discussion issues and decisions, so those of us who can't attend can keep up with progress?

Thanks.

I posted a message at http://www.aboutus.org/User_talk:Tutormentor to
invite Network Weavers to get involved with the Tutor/Mentor
Connection (Daniel's work), based on the next steps listed in the
summary of the conference call.

Ted, the reason I posted my message in the T/MC space is that I would like
to have the follow up take place in a thread just focused on T/MC, not on
all of the other issues that are being discussed. The weakness of Omidyar
is that too many different disucssions and agendas are in each discussion.
There's no single focus on any of the ideas.

I would hope that the follow up on working with David would take place in
his space, for the same purpose. This illustrates a concept of meeting in
one place and working in many other places where other people may also be
gathering. If the group does good networking in these others spaces, their
presence will build visibility for the Network Weaver's space, and draw new
members.

Thus, people could go from the main Networkweaving Hub to a space devoted
to specific issues (in or out of the network weaving web site) and then can
go back into the hub to share ideas or to move to other agendas when ever
they want.

I'm not sure that where I posted my message in the Tutor/Mentor section was
the appropriate place to start a discussion. If you can recommend some
other space let me know.

Daniel,

Well, a wiki is a bit different than having a "discussion."  You could make a page called "Network Weaving with TutorMentorConnection as Example" where you're exploring this issue.  That might be good.  And then leave a link from the minutes and maybe from the main NetworkWeaversNetwork pages to the new page.  Please let me know if you need help with that, and I can do (help or do, actually).

peace,
ted

Okay, here's the new page:

Can you set up such a page? I'm short of time. If you build the page, I'll
use it to try to connect the Network Weaving with T/MC in ways that others
might learn from to connect with others.
