MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical lead role as a database architect for complex enterprise systems
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2005/2000, Oracle and DB2 on the mainframe.
Extensive experience designing and architecting database solutions that are highly available, secure and scalable using Microsoft technologies and best practices
Extensive experience developing, monitoring, maintaining and performance tuning database structures such as tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, constraints and other components using T-SQL
Extensive experience with development tools such as Visual Studio 2010/2008/2005 and SQL Server Management Studio
Extensive experience with data migration, extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of data from multiple systems and platforms using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica and

Datastage
Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions and tools including clustering, load balancing etc.
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Self-motivated, takes initiative and works well in a team environment and able to meet deadlines.  Capable of working independently and with little supervision
