Security Technical Consultant:
"GRC, SIEM & Network Security Analysis"
Overview:
The
consultant works in a collaborative team environment to deploy GRC, SIEM,
Network security monitoring solutions to customers. The consultant will
participate in requirements gathering sessions with clients, solution
architecture design, solution construction and the implementation of the above
mentioned solutions in client environments. The consultant demonstrates an
understanding of enterprise security best practices and procedures and advises
clients on their use.

Job Description
Responsible for the design & delivery of technical projects and continuous improvement activities to support Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform, Security Event Management "SIEM" & network security monitoring.
Required Skills
* Hands-on experience with the implementation and configuration of GRC solutions like "RSA’s Archer, Symantec, IBM" or similar product.
* Hand-on experience with SIEM solution implementation and configuration of one or more of SIEM solution " ArcSight, , Cisco, LogLogic, RSA EnVision, Symantec SIM, Q1Labs and other market place SIEM products
* Develop processes and procedures around security event management
* Experience with the GRC structure, data feeds/API, and workflow.
* Expertise with tools and processes used in security incident detection and handling
* Security event analysis and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS Incident response - triage, incident analysis, remediation)
* Experience working with SQL and logical data modeling.
* Solid knowledge of web-based UI design with HTML, CSS & JavaScript programming.
* Administration-level experience with Windows plus at least one UNIX variant (Solaris, RedHat, etc.) is required
* Knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & compliance.
* Experience working within ISO 17799, COBIT, COSO frameworks is preferred
* Proven ability to assess risks and controls and identify opportunities for improvement.
•Broad knowledge of information technology including: infrastructure, networks, telecommunications, personal computers and servers
* The ability to quickly understand the overall business and/or IT strategy, to analyze the processes, and to develop solutions to support the strategy.
* Ability to lead and facilitate interview sessions with process owners.
* Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadlines.
* Technical project management including project effort/cost estimation & scheduling.
Education: Bachelor of computer engineering Or communication engineering
Certificate(s): CISSP, CISA or CISM desired, CCNP Security desired
Experience with RSA Archer & Envision products is a plus
Experience Required: 3-5
years
