Subject: Scared Young Mom and Kittens Seeking Rescue

Hello,

Baltimore County Animal Services is urgently seeking rescue placement for Jess and her 5 kittens. Jess gave birth to 6 kittens overnight Friday, but sadly one passed away. The shelter is no place for a mom and newborns and we currently have over 50 cats and kittens in foster, and 150 others in the shelter so are desperate to find a rescue that can take in Jess and her babies. Jess is just 1 year old and under 10 pounds.

Age: 1 year old

Gender: Female

Weight: 8.3 lbs

Color: Black

Breed: DSH

Reason for Rescue: Medical

Health Concerns: mom with newborn kittens

Behavior: shy, but sweet

Available for Adoption through BCAS: Not at this time

Available for Foster through BCAS: Not at this time
