Meet Sabi. He is 8yrs old, HW Negative.

He was abandoned by his owner and brought to us. When I first met Sabi, he was vibrant and sassy. Now he is a shell of the dog he used to be.

 

 

Meet Jeff. He is almost 2yrs old, HW Negative 

 

Jeff is a sweet soul that came to us as a stray on 4/6/26. He has lost at least 7lb since he's been with us. He displays behavior, when left to his own accord, that may be related to some sort of cognitive delay or head trauma (in my opinion). He spins, chases his tail, incessantly licks the ground/walls, barks at nothing, hyper fixates on objects in the field, etc. He can disengage and be redirected by handler, but does not ever settle on his own unless sleeping. Enrichment toys in the kennel and playgroups, haven't seemed to help behavior, and haven't been consistent.

 

 

Meet...Q-14... because we don't know their names.

Male- 69lb, 3 1/2yrs old, HW Neg

Female- 46lb, 2 1/2 yes old, HW Neg

 

 They were brought to us after their owner was found deceased in their home on 5/14/26. They showed high anxiety barrier reactivity. Now still nervous, but much calmer with staff that is comfortable working with them. 

 

Meet Our Longest Stays, 

Tim McGraw (top)- 3yrs old, 53lb, HW Positive. He was brought to us on 6/16/2025, after being abandoned with multiple other dogs. 

 

Amara (bottom)- 3yrs old, 49lb, HW Positive. She was brought to is on 7/15/2025, never reclaimed. She is dog friendly, will give appropriate correction when needed, will disengage nicely. She has had some issues with barrier reactivity, especially with men.

These are just a few in the sea of dogs we have at the shelter. There are many more with depression, fear, anxiety, barrier aggression, leash reactivity,  so so much more!

 

Please rescue or network these dogs to find a rescue - your help would be much appreciated!
