Subject: 2 kittens needing rescue ASAP!

Meet Sylvester & Monroe

We are reaching out with an urgent plea for two adorable male kittens, approximately 6–7 weeks old, who are in need of rescue placement.

As part of our adoption center's intake requirements, both kittens were tested and unfortunately received positive FIV test results. We fully recognize that testing at this young age is often unreliable, as maternal antibodies can produce false-positive results in kittens. Because of their age, these results should not be considered definitive, and retesting at an appropriate age (4-6mths) is recommended.

Under normal circumstances, our adoption center is unable to offer FIV-positive cats or kittens to rescue partners. However, given the unique circumstances surrounding these kittens and the likelihood that their results may not accurately reflect their true FIV status, we are making an exception and hoping to find a rescue willing to provide them with a safe place to grow and receive follow-up testing.

These 2 stunning guys have received their FVRCP, capstar and dewormer.  NO PULL FEE!  AS IS!

These kittens have a very short timeline and must be picked up by Monday, June 8. They are bright, adorable, social, and deserve the opportunity to thrive despite the uncertainty surrounding their test results.

If your 501c3 rescue may be able to assist, or if you have any questions about the kittens, please contact ross....@unioncountync.gov as soon as possible.

We would be grateful for any help in securing a positive outcome for them.
