RUSS | A057293  4-6 years • Male NEUTERED • Jack Russel mix• 38 lbs  •   Unable to HW test- tried to bite multiple times   Dog-Friendly: Yes currently with other dogs..  This sweet, happy boy was found as a stray and has such a fun personality!  He does not like being restrained and was uncomfortable with handling when we attempted to estimate his age and complete a heartworm test, trying to bite multiple times. Because of this, we were unable to safely complete the testing or get an accurate age estimate.  He’s a happy boy who will need someone patient and understanding of his boundaries while he learns to trust.

 

 

DUKE | A046052  2 ½ years • Male NEUTERED • Pittie mix• 82 lbs  •   HW Negative   Dog-Friendly: Yes currently with other dogs..  This very scared and nervous boy was surrendered after fighting with another dog in the home.  Despite his fear, he walks well on a leash and did well during dog testing with both male and female dogs. He is also overweight and needs help losing some extra weight!  He’ll need some patience and time to feel safe, but he has shown us that there’s a sweet boy underneath the nerves.

NANNA | A057251  3 years • Female Spayed• Lab mix• 56 lbs  •   HW Negative   Dog-Friendly: Yes currently with other dogs..  This sweet, silly girl was found as a stray, but it’s clear she has been well loved. ️ She’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality!  She does have a few little patches of hair loss that may be allergies, but we’re still unsure of the cause. She’s ready for someone to give her the love and care she deserves!

There have been multiple attempts to reach their owner, but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to make contact. We’re hoping they’re reclaimed, but if not, these bonded babies will need a safe place to land.   He’s frightened right now and will need patience and reassurance, but he deserves the chance to feel safe and loved.

Our vet will be performing a skin scrape to confirm.   Despite everything, these babies are so sweet, friendly, and eager for affection!  They deserve the chance to heal, grow, and find families who will love them through their fresh start.  Please don't let a treatable skin condition keep these little ones from finding the happy future they deserve!

His scars make us wonder if he may have been a victim of dog fighting, but they certainly haven’t changed his heart. ️  He is incredibly loving, outgoing, and full of personality. Whatever he’s been through, he’s still ready to love and trust. He deserves someone who will see past his scars and give him the life he should have always had.
