URGENT - TIME SENSITIVE - The following dogs are at risk for euthanasia due to space IMMEDIATELY (6/2/26)

These dogs have been with us the longest, waiting patiently while the shelter grows fuller by the day. Sadly, their time is running short. Although we are doing everything we can to hold them safely, when kennel space fills, these long-stay dogs are the first in jeopardy. Rescue commitments and timely pickups can truly mean the difference between life and death.

Dog Assessment: Mossby's journey at the shelter has been a story of growing confidence. Initially fearful and avoidant in playgroups, he has steadily transformed into a social participant who eagerly enters the yard, greets other dogs respectfully, and regularly initiates play. Staff have watched him progress from keeping his distance to actively inviting multiple dogs to join him in play, earning a reputation as one of the playgroup rockstars. His ability to build positive relationships with other dogs while continuing to gain confidence has been especially rewarding to see.

This handsome, fluffy red boy has a sweet and gentle nature that shines brightest in calm environments. While he can still be anxious around heavy stimulation and unfamiliar situations, Mossby is compliant, walks reasonably well on leash, and continues to make steady progress with human interactions. He enjoys exploring, accepts treats politely, and has shown himself to be a kind companion to both people and dogs alike. With continued encouragement and a patient home willing to help him build on the confidence he's already gained, Mossby has all the potential to become an exceptional companion.
