Hey there, Charlestonians and Lowcountry Dog Lovers!

 

Pet Helpers has been working with a Rescuer who pulls from Kill Shelters and finds good adoption placements.  This Rescuer was suddenly called back home a month or so ago in an emergency to care for his sick parents, so Pet Helpers did an intake of his current rescue dogs.  This no-kill shelter has now placed 15 of his rescued dogs but still have 8 yet to be adopted.  These dogs all have sad back stories as you might imagine, such as sweet 5-year-old Bree, pictured below.  See both attachments for photos of the other doggies and each of their stories.  Like all shelters these days, Pet Helpers is strapped for space (and funds), having taken in over 200 animals in the last month or so.  

 

PLEASE SHARE, AND PLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTING A DESERVING DOG FROM PET HELPERS!  And it goes without saying from me, but I will say it anyway, please also remember that Pet Helpers has kitties who need to be adopted.

 

BREE and her fellow dog buddies all need loving homes ASAP!
