Meet Penny!

 

Penny was surrendered to us due to her owner’s personal health concerns.  She has lived with children, cats, and other dogs. Penny can be unsure of how she feels about cats and will either hide from the resident cats or chase them. With her resident dog sibling, it was necessary to feed separately due to her resource guarding of food. She can also be protective of her home and yard, and will growl and chase if children she doesn’t know approach or enter, but has never bitten another animal or human.  Due to her breed and all the behaviors that come with it, we are seeking rescue placement for Penny.
