Initially we though that our sweet girl was attacked by another dog by the look of her injuries but when upon exam and radiographs we discovered that she was SHOT!!She has a fracture to her right scapula and multiple puncture wounds. The wounds have been cleaned and staples placed. Some of the punctures have been left open for drainage, but after the weekend they look as though they are beginning to look infected and are not draining as they should causing her to swell! She is on antibiotics as well as pain meds, but she needs emergent care and surgery to save her life!
