Pickens County Animal Shelter in Pickens, SC is seeking rescue placement for the dogs listed below. They are listed in order of greatest need. Unless otherwise noted, all dogs are heartworm negative and dog friendly.

Please note: No pickups are available on Wednesdays or Sundays.

Tucker- 1 yr old neutered male 63lbs heartworm treatment completed 03/31/2026 dog friendly. Tucker was surrendered to the shelter in January, he was adopted and then he was surrendered back to the shelter. The reason, the daughter moved off and left him at her dads who couldn't take care of his self.
