Subject: Norman Has Lost His Person-Please Don't Let Him Lose His Chance To Find A New Home

Meet Norman, an incredibly sweet, lovable tripod kitty who is desperately in need of rescue placement.

We’ll be honest—it was hard to even get a photo of Norman for this plea, because the moment someone came near his kennel, he didn’t want pictures… he wanted love. He immediately began purring, rubbing his face against the bars, and leaning in for pets, completely focused on the human in front of him. Attention is his favorite thing.

Norman is the kind of cat who melts hearts instantly. Staff describe him as one of the sweetest cats in the shelter—affectionate, calm, and endlessly grateful for every gentle touch.

Despite having only three legs, Norman gets around just fine—it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s about 11 years old, a neutered male domestic shorthair, and he came to the shelter after his beloved owner passed away.

Unfortunately, Norman has a large mass on the left side of his face. Based on X-ray findings, cancer is high on the list of possibilities. Aside from this, he is bright, alert, responsive, eating and drinking normally, and remains incredibly social and loving. Because of his medical needs, he is likely a hospice case.

What Norman needs now is comfort, love, and dignity—a quiet place to rest, gentle hands to pet him, and someone to let him know he’s not alone.

If you can open your heart and home to this remarkable boy, Norman will repay you with endless purrs and affection. He deserves to spend whatever time he has left feeling safe, cherished, and loved.
