Located: Abingdon, VA
Brandy + 5 – 6 DSH/DMH; Brandy – DSH tabico female ~2y; Kittens – 1 orange tabby, 3 gray tabby, 1 brown tabby, 6-8w, 3 males 2 females. Brandy is sweet as can be and a wonderful mom to her brood of babies! Chatty and affectionate, she immediately came to the front of her cage to say hello. The babies are all chonky, friendly, and have been investigating mom’s wet food while also still nursing. Brandy and her kittens all appear overall healthy. They came to the shelter as an owner surrender. 9/23 UPDATE: Brandy and her kids have been hanging out with an HTAR foster for about a week now and are thriving away from the bustle of the shelter! All kittens are now eating independently (though still snacking with mama) and growing like weeds.
Verity – DSH calico female 2-4y. If you’re looking for an adult kitty with a gorgeous coat (just in time for Halloween??) and a super friendly temperament, look no further than Verity! She’s a total lovebug, outgoing and absolutely down to make new friends. Lots of friendly little headbutts! Verity appears overall healthy.
Molly + Whiskers – 2 DSH, tabico and white, 2 females, 10-12w. This duo is sweet as can be! Friendly and outgoing, with a curious temperament that brings them to the front of their cage to say hello. Molly and Whiskers appear overall healthy and were treated with Capstar due to the significant amount of fleas hitching a ride on them. They came to the shelter as an owner surrender.
Smudge – DSH black/white female 4-6y. SUSPECTED SPAYED – eartipped! Smudge is a super friendly, outgoing gal with a real love for human companionship. She immediately came to the front of her cage with a chirp and showed off her excellent biscuit-making skills as we provided the necessary scritches. She also has a very cute half-length tail! Smudge currently has a bit of a runny nose. She came to the shelter as a stray.
Fella + Mallow – 2 DSH, black/white, 1 male 1 female, ~6 months and 3-4 months. Fella, the older kitten, is a total charmer – super outgoing and friendly, a total lovebug who’s absolutely down to say hello to anyone who stops by their cage. Mallow is a little more reserved but we were still able to handle her without issue so please don’t let her Resting Grump Face turn you off. Fella and Mallow appear overall healthy. They came to the shelter as an owner surrender.
Paisley – DSH tortie female 1-2y. Paisley would like you to know that she’s here and totally ready to get some TLC! She’s a lovebug, full of purrs, happy chirps, and air-biscuit skills that have to be seen to be believed. She immediately flopped to show us her belly and nearly rolled off of her shelf in joy at our scritches. Paisley appears overall healthy. She came to the shelter as a stray.
