- Rescue Needed - Cookie - unaltered female, 2y3m, 9.2lbs Cookie was owner surrendered due to serious health and financial hardship. Her owner made an incredibly difficult decision, prioritizing their own health while heartbroken to give up a dog they clearly love.   Cookie is described as a very loving, affectionate, and clingy girl who bonds deeply with her person. When left home alone, she occupies herself appropriately; playing with toys, moving them from place to place, climbing onto the bed, and watching the world go by through the window.   During intake, she was snippy during restraint and toweling for exam, and prior medical notes recommend trazodone prior to grooming appointments to help reduce stress and keep everyone safe.
