Dear Networked-Robots TC Members,

I hope your summer is going well. I'd like to send a brief update on the
status of our TC.

As you may know, our TC was up for triennial review this year. After the
review at last ICRA, our TC was extended for three more years.
Norihiro Hagita and Klaus Schilling retired as co-chairs of the TC.
Please join me in thanking them for many years of service and
leadership. Three new co-chairs will be joining me. Let me extend a
warm welcome to Brian Sadler, Libor Preucil and Shuichi Nishio!
I will send a separate email to introduce the new co-chairs.

During the process of preparing the report, two topics emerged as major
focus areas. The first one is on networked aware planning and control
for multi-robot systems. The second one focuses on interoperability and
includes topics such as middleware and cloud robotics.
