Hello everyone

I am afraid I am going to be unscrupalous and use this list for my own purposes  :)

Can I draw your attention to the free online conference that starts Thursday 5th May: http://internationaldayofthemidwife.wikispaces.com

Most of the events are focused around midwifery and childbirth, but there are a couple of sessions that may be of interest to you:

Lorna Davies talking about community resilience and her experience of the Christchurch earthquake - Thursday 5th May 12pm (New Zealand)
Dallas Knight (PhD student at Otago University) talking about health informatics needs of Gen Z women - 7pm
The realities of eLearning for midwifery students by Pam Harden 10pm
Panel facilitated by me on how we can use social media and other online means to improve response to international disaster 23.00 hours
A web platform that is used by a Danish hospital for pregnant women 6th May 4am Joke Habben

cheers Sarah
