Dear Collaborative Networks Colleagues—
I hope this finds you well and having enjoyed a relaxing and fun weekend!
I have attached the notes from our June 25th Collaborative Networks Community of Practice Call and the Network Values Checklist June Holley shared. The chat log with resource links and additional comments is appended to the notes. These items, along with notes from our previous calls and other resources, will also be uploaded to a new shared GoogleDrive site that I will send a link to this week. All should feel free to “curate” and add resources to this site when it is available. Let me know if you have questions about how to do this or what to add where once you receive the link.
Thanks again to June for sharing her ideas about network values as part of our “Building Network Culture” theme last month and to Christine Capra and Christine Egger for playing key roles as part of the call team…and, of course, thanks to all of you who participated!
Here are some next steps:
· Please review the attached notes and follow-up with anyone or with any resources of interest.
· Please be in touch to recommend (or nominate yourself or someone else) to share a case study, challenge, or project for this month’s call…coming up on July 30th at 9:30 AM Pacific.
· I will be facilitating again next month, and Christine Capra will join on running the AnyMeeting platform. Anyone interested in taking notes? (don’t be intimidated by Christine Egger’s beautiful job attached here J)
· The idea for mapping this group to learn more about who is where and doing what has come up several times: Jeff Mohr has volunteered Kumu for use and I believe Ken Vance-Borland, Kristin Johnstad, Derrick Rhayn, and Ari Sahagun are interested in coordinating around this project.
· People raised the idea of hosting other webinars and practice sessions on last month’s call, and I’d encourage you to send invitations to this list for topics you are either interested in or would like to offer.
· On this topic, I will be sending an invitation shortly for a Bay Area regional gathering to meet face-to-face to compare lessons learned, build community, and share practices around collaborative networks.
· If you are on the Network Weavers Practicum list, I will continue to send notes and other information over the coming months, but encourage you to join the Collaborative Networks list if you are interested in receiving ongoing announcements and connecting to other network colleagues not on our NWP list.
Thanks everyone…I look forward to our next call!
Best,
Odin
