Collaborative Networks Community of Practice Concept for Feedback

Dear Collaborative Networks Colleagues—
I have spoken with many of you—in recent weeks or sometime over the past year (or more!)—about my interest in working with you and others to create a “Collaborative Networks Community of Practice”. All of us are involved in some way in supporting/running/studying/funding collaborative practice and network development and I wanted to propose a more intentional coming together among the different individuals, organizations, and networks in this space.
I encourage you to review the draft one-pager attached to this e-mail and share your thoughts. I do know that many of you have been talking about this and might be involved in other learning communities on (or related to) this topic. I’d very much like to be involved in the kinds of activities I propose in the overview, but (in honoring network process) I want to see what other efforts you are involved in or know of that may be integrated as pieces of what I’ve outlined. And I’ve said this to many of you—I’m doing this because I love my work and this field and see the need for a more intentional exchange across consultants-practitioners-funders and others; I want this idea to work as a network (which means we all play some role in ideating, facilitating, supporting, etc.).
Some of you have expressed concern about how large this community might get—or already is!—and I have proposed a regional face-to-face complement to monthly learning calls in the attached to address this, but welcome other ideas as well around balancing inclusion with a vibrant exchange.
