I'm going to get going on writing up a network project case study...anyone have a preferred format for this you could share?

Fellow Weavers -

I am answering my own question:)  Here is a simple draft outline for a case study.  Does this seem to cover what we want to be able to share with one another and audiences?

I imagine that this would not be a rigid template. Stories need to tell themselves and some will come out best starting at the middle or the end, rather than the chronology implied in this outline. But I would still like some of your thoughts about what is really essential to include, and perhaps about effective story telling.   What do you think?

Case Study

Name of network/project

Background

description of group, goals, functions, structure, leadership

Project

description of network analysis and network weaving activities

Outcomes (need a better word)

what happened (or not), people’s responses, changes in group

What’s next

plans, predictions, expectations

Take home messages

what this case study tells us that can be taken into other networks

I usually do a section on strengths or innovations as networks and then one on challenges as networks, closing with a section on recommendations. I also include quotes from people, boxes with networks concepts I then use to explain some particular aspect….

But I like your outline a lot.

This is great - thanks!  I'll incorporate those comments and share something back in a couple of days.
