Minutes of second meeting of Confederation of Punjab Industries Association held at MIA Bhawan on 3rd May, 2013 at 3.00pm.

Shri Anurag Aggarwal President MIA welcomed all the members to the second meeting of COPIA. He informed the members that the minutes of first meeting of COPIA were circulated to all the Associations. He also informed that as agreed during the last meeting, a Google group of associations has been formed and members can now share information on Google, send emails and be in touch with other members.
Shri Raj Jindal, Vice President All India Steel Re-Rollers Association and Shri Harmesh Jain – Co Chairman of Small Scale Steel Re-Rollers Association Mandi Gobindgarh said that information sharing is vital for all the associations. They also said that the parent body of the Association should be contacted once the information has been forwarded by the office. This will ensure participation of more associations during the meetings.
The President informed that there are many common issues which need to be addressed for the benefit of the members.
Some of the points which were shared with the members were:
Shri Raj Jindal – VP All India Steel Re-Rollers Association proposed that for every monthly meeting of COPIA a government official from any department should be invited so that associations can interact and take up their problems. This will ensure participation of Associations.
The tentative date for the next meeting will be Tuesday, 11th June, 2013.
