Lifts, not Payments

Hi all,

Here is a short blog post I wrote this morning, gathering things I learned in discussions with Kyle Bateman, Matthew Slater, Bob Way, Ethan Buchman, and others: https://michielbdejong.com/blog/32.html

It argues that the "everything is a payment" model of economic exchange is pushing us into a restricted solution space, and that the "everything is a lift" model is more generic.
