Just measured... I've been working on a talk about "ultralight programming" and how there's a point at which you can't keep the code in your head any longer.

I think that about 150k lines of code is the sweet spot.

HDFS+Hadoop was just MASSIVE last time I looked.  I didn't even think about adding the size of HBase.

Good nes for the netty project for sure.

I wonder though what happens to computer science when problems must be solved in 150k loc or they arent solvable....

If you would strip out all the provider codecs/handlers etc It would be even less but still handle the core stuff ;)

True... though I think HTTP is used by most people.  The UDT stuff shouldn't really count against ...
