Have the latest MariaDB and WordPress release installed with latest Centos release.

Use the MySql command line utility to connect to MariaDB on the host MariaDB is installed on. i.e. The command line utility is connecting to MariaDB over the loopback interface.

'netstat -ntpl' lists the MySql command line utility session protocol as being tcp6 and the local address being :::3306.

When 'netsniff-ng -i lo' is run the IPv4 Apache loopback packets are displayed for Wordpress when Apache responds to a local URL that is opened up in Firefox.

However the local MySQL loopback packets are not displayed.

What parameters does netsniff-ng need to sniff the IPv6 loopback packets?
