Be part of something bigger this fall!

New England Library Association invites you to submit a proposal for our 2026 Annual Conference and help shape a gathering built around action, connection, and real impact.

  • Burlington, Vermont
  • October 25–27, 2026
  • Theme: Connected Communities

This year, we’re looking for engaging, collaborative, and community-centered sessions that move beyond passive presentations and create meaningful experiences for attendees across New England.

We encourage proposals for:
• Hands-on workshops
• Interactive discussions and panels
• Collaborative learning experiences
• Creative and community-centered programming
• Technology, advocacy, leadership, accessibility, makerspaces, AI, intellectual freedom, and more

Whether you’re a first-time presenter or a seasoned conference speaker, we want to hear your ideas. Libraries are essential, living parts of our communities, and this conference is an opportunity to share the work, creativity, and innovation happening across the region.

Submit your proposal here:
NELA 2026 Call for Proposals

Please note: The deadline for proposals is Monday, June 15th!

Come ready to engage.
Come ready to connect.
Come ready to build.

Kind Regards,
