Is there a way to intercept, override or otherwise force the addtab
function to add a new window instead.
There are NO! circumstances underwhich I want tabs to open in my broswer
that I can envision now or in the future.
I primarily work in XP, but I also use Fedora, pre gnome 3 of course, I
am not a fan of romper room or crayola on my computer.
They, tabs, interfere with how I work, yes I routinely have a dozen or
two windows open at once doing multple research paths at the same time.
While waiting on one I am working on another while taking notes in
notepad++ and watching for changes in the taskbar to tell me when
results come in.
When tabs open they hide multiple things in one window in my taskbar as
well as using up valuable vertical real estate I use for something
productive like reading.
I still use SM2.0.14 with nscontext and two other files modded to
remove tabs completely, they do not even show on the context menu.
I know I am being picky, but I need to get rid of them and ADDTAB
appears to underly the whole problem post 2.0.14.
I am hoping someone will know the answer here.
Though I do some javascript, this is well outside of what I know how to
do, perhaps once an anser is found a singular value can be checked by
the addtab function to force a new window instead.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Doors.
Don't look at the future through a window.
Open the door and go thereyourself instead.

Doors - Dont look at the future in a window.
Walk to a door - Open it, and go there.
