In KDE before logout I can "Save session for future logins". Is it
possible to "save session" before I quit Mozilla?
In example: I have many mozilla windows opened and I have to quit
mozilla and logout. Is it possible to save mozilla session, so the next
time I start mozilla, it will open all the pages that were opened during
last session?
Best regards,
Piotr
Save URLs of Open Windows and Tabs When Closed
Mozilla should automatically save the URLs of windows and tabs when
closed. The user can start where he left off. Futhermore, it is helpful
in case of a crash. Mozilla does not have this natively but you can
download an add-on called Total Recall that does this. Download Total
Recall from http://recall.mozdev.org

Thanks for the info.
Does "Recall" work in Mozilla 1.0 or 1.1. I was unable to "save" mozilla
window with many tabs opened (neither on Windows2000 nor Linux).
Best regards,
Piotr

I haven't tried total recall yet. You have to ask someone else.

I don't know about recall.
If you can predict in advance that you are going to close the browser,
you can file a bookmark group for the current tabset. That isn't a
full implementation of what you want, but it is an acceptable
workaround for some cases (such as when you need to restart the
browser to finalise an installation or theme change and don't want to
lose your current tabset).
If you walk away from the computer and someone else closes the
browser, or if (and this is becomming pretty unusual these days) the
browser crashes, you don't have a chance to file a bookmark group.
And it's inconvenient to have to do so. I agree that it would be nice
if it were automatic; I think that is planned, but has not been
implemented yet.
