Is Multizilla compatible with Seamonkey 2.0? Or is it unnecessary (I
love the "Open folder in tabs" function)?

Where can I download the latest Multizilla? I can't find a download link
on multizilla.mozdev.org (nor any Seamonkey version compatibility info),
and although I'm running Multizilla 1.8.3.4e all download links I find
on Google are for earlier versions.

Bonus question: will SM2 and SM1.8 coexist?

to your first, you can see what I've written about it
here
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1567515
and you'll find your answer there, too.

Multizilla is one of the reasons I'm not upgrading as
of yet. Or unless I can find a suitable replacement.

As for your second: no, but yes. SM 2 won't run with
SM 1 running or SM 1 won't run with SM 2 running.

However, since you're running windows, right click on
the icon you use to start SM 2, select properties, and
on the Shortcut tab, look for the Target line. At the
end of it add a space, then -no-remote so it looks
something like this:

"c:\program files\seamonkey\seamonkey.exe" -no-remote

save it, and now start SM 1 first, then SM 2.

Google lead me to it after I posted (I tried another search criteria),
but thanks.

But I can have both installed side-by-side and run one or the other?
Will they be using the same profile?

yes. They both have their own installed program area,
and they each have their own profile. Do not use the
SM 1 profile for SM 2, they're not compatible.

No way to import my bookmarks and my passwords collection?

SM 2 should have done it automatically. Yours didn't?
If not, then close SM. Click on the windows start
button, then run and enter:

c:\program files\seamonkey\seamonkey.exe -migration

this should migrate everything from SM 1 to SM 2.

NOTE: if you installed SM 2 in a different location,
then use that location.

The last time I tried MultiZilla I thought it was very slow so I don't
know very well MultiZilla.

My Seamonkey 2.0 open all links in tabs* but it may not be the default
configuration. Link in RSS doesn't open a new tab and I don't know why.

* I may have configured that in Mozilla 1.5 or 1.4

Not there yet. But while I'm hacking Multizilla into SM2, I may be
running SM1 for while, and do a final import later.

That will do nicely. Thx.

if you do hack it and get it running, how about letting
others in on it? I know about 30 others who won't
upgrade because of not having multizilla.
