http://kek.gg doesn't seem to upload after I I pick a small image file.

http://imgbb.com worked though.
UserJS solution (still valid, also for the
dailybeast.com) as posted in
the
a.c.sm group; fixes black page for Found Peanut when not enrolled in
beta program.

It doesn't seem to be quite the same, as there is actually an error
backtrace (similarly with
https://www.ardmediathek.de/, separate issue).
imgur is hoping to find a navigator.credentials whose value is a

(supported in FF61+, never in IE)
Unfortunately, it actually expects to be able to use the value of
navigator.credentials.
Since the React framework that they used to serve the page doesn't seem
to require navigator.credentials (supposedly supports IE, with no
relevant polyfill), this looks like a deliberate attempt by imgur to
break their site.
The fragment below fixes it, at least enough to show the image or play
the video with just
imgur.com enabled for JS with NoScript (presumably
whatever password functionality the site was hoping to implement won't
be working):
if (!('credentials' in navigator)) {
navigator.credentials = {
get: function() {
return Promise.reject(new Error('not implemented'));
},
create: function() {
return Promise.reject(new Error('not implemented'));
}
};
}
With NoScript, make that the .replacement for
noscript.surrogates.imgur.sources = "<.
imgur.com".
