I'm a Sun employee and the current OJI module owner. I have decided to
take another position inside of Sun and I need to give OJI module
ownership to someone else. I propose Joe Chou as the new OJI module
owner. Joe has been on my OJI team since April of this year and is very
familiar with the OJI, Plug-In, and especially liveconnect code. Joe
has an good sized list of verified bugs to his credit [1] and is well
connected with the Java Plug-In team.
I'll introduce Joe at this Wednesday's Netscape engineering All-hands.
How do I go about getting approval for this Module Ownership Change?
Thanks,
Ed

Hello Folks,
* I really need an answer on this by Friday.
I have heard from shaver and dmose that some discussion has been going
on, but I don't know the outcome. Can you please give me some closure?

Since this weeks meeting was canceled, I told Joe to go to next weeks
and introduce himself, perhaps with Ron's help.

Is there a [beta] or anything that is compiled with gcc 3.x yet? Better yet, is it
possilbe to compile my own libjava plugin, and if so, where might someone point me to
directions on doing this?
I have most of my system compiled with gcc 3.0.2 which I have finally learned that there
is an ABI issue with libjava plugin. (I compile mozilla from CVS every night)
Thank you muchly,
David
