mail read and then immediately to 0 emails

There is on newsgroup on a server out of 10 that gives me this
problem. I click on the newsgroup, i see the number of emails read
for a moment, and then all messages immediately disappear from the
folder. Do i have a hidden filter somewhere? Anyone experience this
with Thunderbird?

Everyone has moved to the Mozilla news server "news.mozilla.org".
Go there *** and ask your question in the Thunderbird support newsgroup
"mozilla.support.thunderbird" which you will find on that news server.
*** Tools >> Account Settings >> Account Actions >> Add Other Account >> Newsgroup Account
The newsgroup in which you are posting was abandoned 5 years ago.
FWIW it sounds as if you might have your "View" set to something other
than "All". But ask again in the newsgroup where everyone now is.
