This is just to report to the Mozilla community that our Breton localized versions of Mozilla Firefox 1.5 and Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5rc2 are now available for download at:

The glossary used for these versions has been reviewed and approved by the French public organisation in charge of the promotion of the Breton language ( ).

1000 CDROMs including these localized versions are now being made and will be freely distributed to all bilingual schools in Brittany (West part of France), starting January 2006. This action is part of a more global and recent effort to promote free software in the French and Breton public offices.

This project is co-leaded by the « An Drouizig » association and financed by the Brittany Region. This CDROM, which also includes 2.0.1 in Breton and a bunch of other free software can be ordered for free.

See CD-ROM covers at:

Keep up the good and free work!
