If I have a Firefox window open with the bookmarks sidebar displayed, then when I open another instance of Firefox, it will also have the sidebar displayed. Is there any way, including a command line option, that can force new Firefox windows to open with the sidebars closed?

Thanks.

I also should have added that I'm opening the new Firefox browser window with -new-window. I should not have used the word "instance" above as I'm not trying to open with -new-instance and a separate profile. I'd just like to open a new window with the sidebars closed. Even if there are many existing windows with the sidebar closed, if one has them open then all new windows will have them open as well.
