I'm trying to browse sites like tomshardware.com with an old PC (Dell
latitude pentium 2 400 256mb) and firefox 2 with adblockplus but it's kind
of unbrowsable, it keeps locking while i scroll down the pages, is there
some tweak i can use, i mean with some sites it isn't slow at all.

Thanks

What OS are you running? As Firefox 2.0 and tomshardware.com appears to
be working fine for me.

Ouch! 4MB of video RAM is pretty small. That could be the problem right
there. Does other browsers work okay? I have Firefox 1.0.7 running on my
4MB of video RAM systems, btw. Hardly use them though for anything.

Internet explorer 6 sp1 seems a little faster though it doesnt have an
advertising blocking thing. However i've heard that firefox is java-based,
maybe thats the reason why it's slower on old systems like mine.
