CORRECTION !!

All the current examples of switching to full screen mode present the user
with the annoying allow/deny dialog box

Is it possible to exactly use javascript to provide the exact equivalent of
F11?

If the user finds the allow/deny dialog box to be annoying, then the
user can set her/his Mozilla browser to "always allow" (or to "always
deny").

In Firefox, users can change their choice for the current site at
"Tools >> Page Info >> Permissions >> Enter Fullscreen".

Using JavaScript is something which the web page author would do, not
the user.

If a web page author were annoyed at users having a choice, then that
web page author could be looking for some JavaScript trick to take the
user's choice away.

A web page author who wanted to support users having their own personal
choices could instead tell users how to choose between "always ask",
"always allow", and "always deny".

Mozilla browsers appear to be ensuring the user has the choice.
