I can't find the exact point on the web-page that it's crashing at.
Is this a bug or is it just my computer?
Also, when I was searching Google UK and viewing some of the cached pages
the same crash happened.

Does it crash using IE? Try loading the page and then viewing the source before
you scroll down. See if the whole source has loaded.
Google uses no javascript or tricky html of which I'm aware. Do other Google
News pages work okay?

I've downloaded a version of Firebird optimized for Pentium 3 and I tried
the page(s) again and there are no problems. Maybe Google changed something
recently as I doubt that there was something wrong with my computer.
Anyway thanks for your help!
Sorry, sopke too soon, it's happening again.
The error is happening around the end of this code:

And Google do seem to be using some javascript scripts on these pages.
I've tried moving down the page while the page is still loading and while
the page has fully loaded yet it still seems to crash the system. I managed
to get the crash data but I doubt its any help, here it is:
MOZILLAFIREBIRD caused a divide error in module <unknown> at 0000:00000204.

Hope you can help!?!?
A Google search on this suggests that a whole range of things might be producing
the problem:
http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=%22divide+error%22+%22module+%3Cunknown%3E%22
Try browsing through some of these pages and see if anything rings a bell,
particular connected to whatever OS you're using.
box
I had a look through the list you gave me and none ring a bell as the error
message that came up doesn't specify where the divide error occurred. I also
test whether this crash happens on another of my windows 98SE computers and
I get the same crash. I don't have any spyware installed and haven't really
installed much latelt that would affect Firebird to cause the crash.
I've also tried deleting the profiles and re-installing Firebird but the
same thing happens. When I previously had Netscape installed the same crash
was happening on both computers as well.
Any suggestions?
