Hi,
I have a P133, 32MB RAM, Windows 95 LEO PC with two Hard Disks.
On my secondary hard disc I have an empty folder with the name
~MSSETUP.T which includes
two more empty folders named
~MSSTFOF.T and ~MSSTFQF.T
What are they?
Can they all be deleted without hesitation?
Regards
Eser

Rename them, run for a couple weeks. No problems? Nuke 'em.

What are they ?
I think they are folders created by MS Office for it's own work. I
noticed that they are re-created if i deleted them.

Hahaha... Daniel Herve Desurmont <ddesu...@nordnet.fr> should have known
I'd reply to this thread in netscape.public.general. This was on Mon, 23

I think it's something to do with the Setup programs that programs use
(usually the one with the blue screen). There are other folders created by
this process, such as the ones in the Temp directory. Usually, these can
be safley deleted (but it is always wise to create a backup).

These files appeared before I had MS Office on my screen, so I don't think
it's that.

However, with these strange names, you can never tell what comes from
where.

Thanks,
Jamie
