Many websites, ebay is a good example,do not present correctly on the
screen of my HP zv5000. NO pictures will display, click-thru links will
not fuction (related, I think, to the absense of the picture/hyperlink).
I have searched the faqs and other mozilla resources and found nothing
that helps diagnose the problem. I have reverted to using IE because
Firefox will not function. The machine runs an HP-optimized XP Home OS.

Try to start FF in safe mode ( Start > All programs> FF > safe mode) and
check whether all those problems exist or not.
