I have searched soooo much and... nothing... nothing at all!

Hey Rapster88, this is Ian again!
Here is a solution to the problem!!!
Open Firefox as usual. Export bookmarks into a html file, in a place on
your disk that can be easily found afterwards.
Take a note of the extensions and themes you used, so that you can
reinstall them later.
Close Firefox
Start > Run > firefox /p (Firefox profile manager starts)
Create a new profile (let's say "Tester")
As you ll find out, the proxy problem is not present any more. You can
set your proxy settings as you wish.
Start one more time firefox profile manager. Delete default profile.
Rename "Tester" profile as "default".
Now, having the proxy problem fixed, you have all the time to reinstall
your favorite themes and extensions.

Enjoy your new Firefox 1.5
Ian
:)
Import your old bookmarks from the file you 've already saved.
(Bookmark management).

And something else as well...
If you 're an experienced user of firefox, you can have a look at
firefox preferences (just type "about:config" on address bar)

@Ian .. rapster88's post was sent to feedback section of news groups by
way of http://hendrix.mozilla.org/

You can tell if it is a hendrix posting by the "Browser Details:" at
bottom of the posts.

Also hendrix is pointing to mozilla.feedback instead of
netscape.public.beta.feedback as of Jan.21 now.

The only way rapster88 will get a response is if somebody directly
email's him.

In the end if you need help with Firefox, a nice active place is the
popular un-official independent forums.mozillazine.org
